We are proud and exited to introduce Vision Pet Imaging (VPI) to the Puget Sound veterinary community.
In some cases, it can be difficult to decide on the best imaging modality to utilize. Below is a brief explanation of the imaging modalities and their best applications. Feel free to contact us if you have a question about how to best image a particular patient, given its unique situation.
Ultrasound; indications and sites
- Signs localized to the abdomen
- Thoracic masses seen on radiographs
- Swelling or mass on the cervical region, or unexplained hypercalcemia
- Lameness localized to the shoulder or other specific tendinous or muscular region
- Swelling around the eyes or head
CT; indications and sites
